Dell XPS 15 2020, Worth buying?

Hi all,

My macbook is dying so i decided to get a 15 inch laptop. After many review youtube videos, I have decided to get the Dell XPS 15 over MSI Stealth/Prestige 15

Looking to get the RM7799

My question is, in Dell, it says it is "New" but then then there are stories of a 2020 model coming out soon using the 10th gen processors.

Question is

1. Is it worth waiting for the new model or choose the supposedly "new" options on dell site now
2. Are there any difference with 9th gen 17 vs 10h gen i7?
